IOTA Bash 2008 will be held March 14th and 15th in Boerne, Texas just outside of San Antonio. This will be the 4th annual IOTA Bash and we are looking forward to another great program. For those who will be coming for the first time the event is held in a very picturesque and quaint place in the Texas hill country. This is one to bring the XYL to with plenty of local area attractions. This year there will be a trip for the spouses to Fredericksburg, Texas ( www.fredericksburg-texas.com/visitor ) for good shopping and Texas hill country culture. There will be plenty of IOTA to talk about also. Please check the IREF website for updates on speakers and more specifics on the event. There will be a dinner Friday night with presentations on Saturday. Sunday will be free to explore the surrounding area of the hill country and San Antonio.
If traveling by airlines you would fly into San Antonio, the location of the Bash is only about 30 miles from the airport. Needless to say San Antonio is a great tourist destination and is very XYL friendly. A nice spring getaway.
